Would you like to know that last night I had dream?
It was the most vivid fantasy that ever played out in my mind.
Of you and I in a new utopia –leaving this old world behind,
So that we may unwind the perplex of life’s true theme.
In this dream the sun never set and our bodies intertwined-
Anyone nearby could see that our eyes would dance and gleam.
It was one of those dreams that can boost ones self-esteem,
Because it reminds the heart that love is patient and kind.

So does my dream have any effect upon you?
Does it haunt to know that you have plagued my dreams?
I know that you will never acknowledge my jubilee-
That you will always look away as I silently pursue.
For eternity we will only be together in my dreams, it seems,
Because although it breaks my heart to say, our love will never be.
